Esselte Leitz has received the Innovation Award 2008 from Statples at its annual sales conference in Germany. The Leitz Active Nature range was seen as the most inventive new product.

“That takes the good old category of lever arch files to a higher level”, Jochen Weber, Merchandising Director Staples Central Europe said. “With its 10 year warranty and the cooperation with the WWF it offers an ideal combination for sales growth”.

The two other nominees in this category were Hewlett Packard (HP) and Samsung. The Leitz 180° Active Nature lever arch files were designed to be environmental-friendly: stable and made of three layers of recyclable Polyfoam they are extremely robust and durable.

Leitz gives a ten year guarantee on both Active Nature lever arch files and ring binders. For each sold lever arch file and ring binder Leitz donates a contribution to the WWF
