India’ Navneet Publications says that its stationery business picked up in Q4 following a a couple of quarters of underperformance Revenue grew 32.8% YoY to Rs825mn (11.7 million euros) backed by better order flows from India and abroad. The PBIT margin remained flat at 13.7% year on year.
“We expect the performance of the stationery segment to improve in FY13E as the company expects strong order flow from international markets,” said Navneet in a statement.
Originally a publication company, In 2006 Navneet added to its Paper Stationery products with a range of Non-Paper Stationery – FfUuNn Pencils. Over the years the Company has added many products under this brand ranging from erasers, sharpeners, rulers, compass boxes, crayons. Its stationery business now counts over 500 SKUs.
